More About Landscape Design NJ Services
A designer trained in landscape architecture, can typically handle any type of design that is required. It's not just about pretty plants - although that's a big part of landscaping. One has to know how to work with sloped properties, whether it be re-grading or designing retaining walls for function and aesthetics. Landscape drainage is another issue which must be addressed. We can also work with specific budgets. After all, what's the point of creating a design that will cost more than you want to spend? We offer great flexibility in this area. Plant sizes can be adjusted, paving materials can be changed, projects can be phased, etc. All of this will help to assure that you will receive not only a beautiful design but one that works for your situation. Knowing the pros and cons (and relative costs) of various paving materials are also important. New Jersey landscape design ideas, such as how to design a patio, a walkway, a driveway, swimming pools ...how to create excitement with a landscape plants in a planting design, keeping maintenance to a minimum, outdoor lighting, and other site amenities all come into play. In addition, creativity will make it stand out from the rest. When I create a landscape design in NJ, it has been done in such a detailed way that you can be sure it will work upon installation. It is not a sketch or just a pretty picture. It is a detailed landscape drawing done to scale. All spaces can be measured. Notes are provided for contractors or homeowners who wish to install the project themselves. All plants are named on the drawing, and in addition, I provide plant lists with suggested planting sizes. This way, when landscape contractors provide you with estimates, you can compare apples to apples…or at least be assured of what size plants you will be getting. We can also advise on phasing the NJ landscape project. Once the drawings are completed, or near completion, this can be discussed. As much as we would all like to do a project at once, this is not always possible! Such things as access for the landscape contractors should be taken into consideration if that applies to your design
How about hiring a qualified landscaper? We feel it is better to use professional designers/landscape architects in NJ since they are working only for the client. The object is to create the best design possible without any other purposes. We can recommend highly qualified contractors for landscaping in NJ to install your project. We also offer optional project management where we can be involved in the project from start to finish…or as needed.
*Note - We also offer online landscape designs for homeowners who live out of New Jersey!
