heaven on earth, that would be the name

by MICHELLE ARELLANO
(SALEM,VA 24153)

MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT 93 ACRES 3 YEARS AGO. WE ARE JUST STARTING ON OUR HOME. WE WANT TO CREATE WONDERFUL PLACES TO WALK, SWIM AND PLAY WITH OUR 4 KIDS. BUT WE ALSO WANT TO TAKE IN THE BEAUTY OF THE LAND ITSELF, AS WELL AS THE BIRDS AND OTHER WILDLIFE.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR INFORMATION.
YOUR WEBSITE IS A VERY HELPFUL TOOL WITH LOTS OF WONDERFUL IDEAS.

Designing with Nature
by: Susan Schlenger

Designing with nature is a wonderful way to approach landscaping. Not only do you get to enjoy specific garden elements, but also the beauty of nature on its own. When you incorporate both together, you truly do get "heaven on earth"!

You may have a property that naturally attracts birds. Or you may provide feeders, water, and plants with berries to attract them. Either way, walking paths and sitting areas to enjoy the birds can be part of your backyard landscaping.

Depending on your property, there are also many other ways to create that special landscape.
